UPDATING TO NEW FIRMWARE 21.0.0 IS NOT RECOMMENDED. THERE ARE COMPATIBILITY ISSUES WITH A LOT OF HOMEBREW APPS.

UPDATED APPS for new firmware 21.0.0 (download the MODDED files if there is no official release for FW 21.0.0). USE the modded files with CAUTION. Not all modded apps have been tested.

YOU CAN USE THIS TOOL TO AUTOMATICALLY PATCH your NRO and OVL files to support FW 21.0.0

which one mate? the whole list of apps recompiled

Retroarch works. Try moving the whole Retroarch folder over to pc, and then remove it from the SD card and install it fro mthat thread. I've been playing a bunch of PSX, DC and PSP games on it on 21.0

I'm using firmware version 21.0.1 and have tried reinstalling it multiple times, but it doesn't work. Every time I launch RetroArch, the system crashes and restarts.

Oh that could be why. I had so many issues in 21.0.0 that the moment I heard a hotfix dropped I avoided updating my console like the plague.

Sorry to hear it's not working on the new firmware.

My Switch hadn’t been updated for a long time, and I thought it needed an update to play new games. So I jumped straight to 21.0.1, and then everything stopped working :(. I guess now I can only wait, right?

Didn't take that long to see updates for the other new update. A lot of things were updated early december.
 
Hey Guys

I tried to patching the following below. None work for me still. I'm on firmware 21.1.0. Used the patch tool site, said it was successful and i placed the .nro in the correct folder on my switch but it crashed the system. Any ideas?

Ive been struggling to get homebrew working without running into Error Code 2168-0002 for the past few weeks

Is this online tool a fix for incompatibility issues?
