Hey guys, i have this V1 with rcm x86 where it wasn`t working the data lines, so i soldered the missing point hoping that would fix it (see image), but i managed to accidentally remove the black resistor from the red arrow and lost it.

Now, i don`t know if it is related to losing the resistor or not, but the switch does turn on and identify when charger is connected, but the battery charge won`t move foward no matter how long i leave it. (it's stuck at 12%).

So currently, the switch is missing this resistor, it does turn on and identify the charger and even shows that it is charging but it doesn't transfer any data through usb (windows won't even beep when cable is connected no matter the side).

Question is, first of all, does anyone know its resistance if it does have any at all? If not, would it be ok to just bridge it?

Secondly is it related to the switch not charging the battery? (only managed to test after losing the resistor).

No, don't bridge it as that might let the magic smoke out of the BQ charging IC.

that resistor is part of the temperature sensing circuitry so if it is missing, the charging circuit may think that your baking hot and will not charge it as a safety precaution.
This is the BQ reference schematic (resistor values are slightly different.)
The resistor you are missing is connected to the TS1/TS2.

Are these 0201 or 0402 sizes? Found this one for sale:
