Twilight Princess PC port "Dusk" gets its first release

It wasn't too long ago we saw our first glimpse of Courage Reborn, another Twilight Princess PC port in the works based on last year's decompilation efforts. With each port offering its own take on what an enhanced version of the game could look like, it's a fantastic time to be a fan of the game. And for those wanting to jump back into Hyrule right now, good news has arrived. Dusk has had its first release.

Available for Windows, Mac (ARM and x86), Linux (ARM and x86), Android, and iOS, you will struggle to not have a way to play. Featuring controller-friendly menus, you really just need an ISO for the game to get started. Once that's loaded in, you're able to pick whether you want the classic GameCube experience, or a bunch of new quality of life and graphical changes as your starting point. This port features a great variety of tweaks, most notably for me including an on the fly way to mirror the overworld. Those who grew up playing the Wii version will find this invaluable.

Along with the release, we also got a brief trailer covering a lot of what's included:

A lot of this was fairly well known, with the only major announcement coming at the end with the tease of a randomiser mode. Those interested in getting this setup for themselves can find the downloads below. As mentioned before you will need to supply your own ISO.

If anyone needs it, I also whipped together a launcher/updater for this port. Just like I did for the minish cap (same codebase)

I'd argue this one needs it less since it really is just one click from the main menu anyway. Could be an idea for you to unify these into one launcher so people have a one stop shop for launching all their PC ports though. There'd definitely be utility in that.

I agree on both points!

I am not sure how often this will be updated, or if their built in update checker is just that or also handles the update process automatically. So I figured for now its a starting point before merging!

Maybe even a mod browser and installer once that all gets cleared up a bit more. I think gamebanana is hit or miss?

I'm playing Dusk Zelda Twillight Princess Port on Xbox Rog Ally and I really enjoy playing it a lot since I miss playing Zelda Twillight Princess it's my favorite game besides Skyward Sword and Majora's Mask. I like Ocarina of time but I find it litte bit boring

I have been a huge fan of Zelda since childhood, besides Rockman/Mega Man games. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword were fun games. I finished them a long time ago.

I found The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time rather boring.

This looks like a chatgpt post i swear

or just someone trying to troll. i have never heard someone knock on ocarina of time and call themselves a zelda fan. for most its considered the best zelda game of all time.
To be fair were it not for OoT3D I'd probably be with them. I played Wind Waker as my first Zelda game and going back to Ocarina of Time on the bonus disc just felt so lacking. 3D was the glow up it needed though, definitely one of my favourite games now.

Either way, some games just don't gel with some people. Them not liking something popular doesn't necessarily mean they're trolling.
