Homebrew Tinfoil, DBI and Goldleaf tell me my games have updates but how do I update them?

I have my Switch all sorted, everything works and *nearly* every games runs (Ori and the Blind Forest doesn't yet) and I consider that a huge win all way round. As I've been trying out the different pieces of software included in the HATS package I saw that DBI has a game update option.

Several games have updates but I have zero idea how to update them because there is no option or "click here" to update. I read somewhere that updates are automatically downloaded and applied- is that accurate?

I generally just use my pc to download and install games but would like to take advantage of onboard apps on the homebrew Switch.

Cheers

It just mean there are games update available, and your game updates are not the latest. You can either source your update online or use a paid tinfoil shops.

In case someone has the same problem: I managed to get Ori Blind Forest to work.

I am on atmosphere 1.11.1 with HOS 20.5. I used https://github.com/cxfcxf/nscb-desktop to convert the NSP of the game to an XCI and then installed with DBI 895. It showed some warnings during installation (which didn’t show with the NSP), but the game works flawlessly.
