disable the green light on PSvita 2000?

I have a Japanese vita 2000 with a red back and when playing it in the dark the green light is very noticable through the red plastic. Is there a way to disable it? I looked it up and all I could find was something similar but it's for the 1000 and it only disables the bottom bluelight (noled) and apparently doesn't even disable the green light. Is there something I've missed?
