I don't get it.
She bought these games second hand and that was a bad thing?

The Gamergate crowd back then accused her of not playing the games and just posing on front of them. This was also when that movement shifter from attacking the lack of integrity in video game journalism (where big AAA developers like EA would pay for good coverage) to plain sexism.

Essentially Sarkeesian criticized the feminine role in videogames and a bunch of kids and young adults got mad she would be saying bad things about their favorite videogames. That sentiment led a lot of them to get radicalized and support far right movements (in the US and outside), lol.

I honestly don't think she was the right person to do what she aimed to for both not having a background in sociology nor being experienced in dealing with such a complicated public - but she started a movement and it was absolutely ridiculous the level of backlash she got.

I just noticed that in the last 2 vids, Louis "Right to Repair" Rossmann sat in front of a shelf with a Zelda edition Wii U:

Please tell me it's modded too! That would be so sick.

Admittedly... it looks more like someone else entirely did the room and it's probably not his own, but it's a funny coincidence either way.
