I haven’t overclocked my switch in a long time but I’m looking at the discord where people are testing the games. I’ll wait till games work a little better than they do now. Not sure what game I want to play on my switch but it’s nice knowing this exists right now. This is like one of the best things on switch right now, I didn’t think they would get more past sega saturn to this.

Quick question: Anyone has tried trimmed Gamecube ISOs? I got a bunch of Gamecube games but they are from the Nintendon't era, so I got them all trimmed for that precious space. Thanks in advance!

I tried using three different formats with a Crazy Taxi ISO - .ciso, .nkit and .rvz. Only one of those worked, though I'm not yet sure which.

That's not correct. With UV 1700+ is absolutely fine.
Good point. Undervolting can help a lot.
However, we don't know if tico is doing some sort of undervolting. Its doc is really poor. What we know is that tico overclocks the switch significantly, which is dangerous on Erista with standard voltages.

PSA: don't try this on older v1 (erista) switches. The imposed overclock is way beyond the safe values for Erista, around 1.2GHz when docked. You will damage your console in the long run.
This is fine in Mariko units, though.
Already discussed before in the, now closed, 4IFIR thread.
I have never overclocked even slightly without the Switch dying before it warns to go to sleep on my V1. Just don't do it IMO.

i tested some game on wii :
Kamen Rider: Super Climax Heroes : Crash on boot. Notplay able
WWE 2k13 : Crash on boot
Mortal Kombat: Armageddon : crash on boot
Bully Scholarship Edition : can get in game but too slow, not playable

I don’t get this pessimism. A GameCube emulator isn’t the same as a PlayStation 3 emulator, the example you used earlier just didn’t make any sense. I’ve tried some Wii and GameCube games here and even on version 0.01 they’re already very playable.

Crying is allowed.
To this day, no one has managed to do what this young man is doing.
For those who complain, make it happen!

I think that is all nonsense. it only overclocks to 1785 MHz CPU / 768 MHz GPU. Isn't that stock clocks when docked? Or at least very close to it? I see zero issues happening, especially when docked. Just keep an eye on temps if a person is concerned, but I really don't see issues.

Is it possible to use the same folders i have for retroarch games for tico so i don't have to move everything or make copies?
