tried patching the latest tinfoil nro with the libnx ABI patcher but it still crashes (something to do with loading the titles.us.en.json file maybe)...

set your Retroarchswitch.nro in the switch folder like so

Then last but not least set your RetroArch folder to the root of you sd card!

I'd need to run retroarch in order to play psp games on my modded switch, right? Mine is crashing.

All my file explorer apps are brutally slow now. Literally like a 20 second delay between moving up or down a list 😡

I hate whatever Nintendo did to memory and homebrew

What do we use for file browser and installing stuff then? DBI doesn't work for me

Nintendo did nothing to applet memory nor fs to effect homebrew performance. Only major change was to ns for listing games. Poorly optimized homebrew were most affected, although all homebrew should've caught up by now, this change was almost a year ago now. So file explorers should not be slower, unless the homebrew is doing some very dumb shit.
 
Did flycast get a new update or something? Mine kept crashing. and I got the latest build.

I found a way to make PPSSPP work without RetroArch. As for PS1 games, I recommend duckstation.

Mine crashes if I add a custom box art, but works fine otherwise, try removing Flycast completely and then reinstall it.

I tried the standalone PPSSPP emulator and it also crashes, but I tried the latest nightly version of Retroarch a month or so ago and it works now. The PS1 core keeps crashing, but Duckstation does indeed work great, it even runs with a few graphical enhancements that I didn't know the Switch could handle.

I did the Flycast reinstall and it still kept crashing. It worked before, but any other time I played it, it crashed.
