Finally got my hands on one of these. I was worried that the screen would be too small for my aging eyes but it's surprisingly fine. Really enjoying it so far

Replacement headband cable for my headphones (it's the cable that runs through the headband to connect the non cable side cup). Beyerdynamic pretty much sell spares for everything, even if it's something that needs soldering, unlike a lot of companies who just virtue signal about how green they are, but then want you to throw stuff as away as they don't sell spares.

Don't actually need it yet, the outer insulation has just started going, so for now a bit of tape will do, but got it while it's available.

Single image responses, especially memes are a waste of bandwidth and only serve to clutter up the forum.

The Game Gear USB-C power and audio boards I ordered came last night. They are the correct boards, but they have the wrong header. It doesn't fit the cable on my VA5 Game Gear.

I managed to get the power board to work by breaking the connector's plastic so it would fit the cable, but the audio board was so tight that it ripped the cables out of the header (the part that attaches to the audio board). So now I don't have any audio on my Game Gear until the new cables arrive. Definitely pissed.

Couple of those ink sphere things got stuck probably. Did you try massaging it? :creep:


(That sometimes worked with stuck pixels on LCD screens. Many an NDS got massaged gently back in the day.)

You should've waited for the E-Book with Color capabilities. But not bad, been wanting one of those, they'd be great for documentation purposes (to me).
Nice purchase.
