Fantasy Life i set to launch on iOS and Android this summer, supports cross-platform multiplayer and cross-save progression

After launching on pretty much every modern platform last year, the latest entry in the Fantasy Life series is getting some fresh attention, this time in the form of a mobile port. From the trailer we can see this port being the complete experience, allowing players to both transfer their save data to and fron other platforms, and play with friends via cross-platform multiplayer. This port will mark the first time the series has had a full game on mobile platforms, with the previous title being a free-to-play spin-off.

As of the time of writing, no information has been made available as to how much these versions of the game will cost.

That’s a sentence I would never think would be said

I regret buying it on PS5 instead of waiting for the Switch 2 version. Hopefully I have enough desire some day to finish it, but its unlikely as this is not the type of game I would play on the TV.

I don't mind playing it on TV and I even love it. Not sure why people want it only in handheld.
Probably because the original Fantasy Life was on 3DS. And moreso if parts of FLi feel like they have aspects perfect for portable gaming. Also probably because the Switch version is the only one with local multiplayer of any kind. (Personally, I was interested in the game, right up until it was revealed it had Epic Online Services and required an Epic Account for online play - I won't touch either of those out of principle, and due to past experience with a game containing EOS.)

they can shove this game they absolutely ruined it with snoozeland dlc. not only is it pointless with incredibly bad RNG and the polished DD tools are not better than the TT tools and the weapons barely any better but it's buggy AF with random CTD now

oooooooo i'm interested, man with game native and winlator and new cell phones.
retro portables and switch 2, even the steam deck feel out of date.

I've seen people even play resident evil 2 on their phone.
making me really wonder if phones just need a good game controller to replace all existing portables

Oh man I don't think I've ever heard about this game in years outside of... well, anywhere. I should really download this! I remember it being announced on a Nintendo Direct, but I sort of forgot about it after that.
