Ah, so you've have probably skipped 21.x.x altogether which broke most of the homebrew apps.
The bad news is that most of them will need to be rebuilt with the latest libnx.
The good news is that most of the apps already got officially updated for firmware 21.x.x and the rest were rebuilt and posted by various individuals in this thread.

I'm yet to update my console to 22.0.0 so I can't say if there are some homebrew apps that are still broken. 22.0.0 broke the way homebrew apps work once again but new Atmosphere maintainers managed to find a workaround which is included in the latest Atmosphere version. There might be a homebrew app or two that isn't working properly but it should be good for the most part.
Thank you, I'll try what I can do tomorrow and update :)

So i tried out what you said and it still didn't work, well the software launched just fine but when i went to connect it to usb transfer it gave me the same error. I'm not sure if I did anything wrong or if there's further instructions? This is what i did: i downloaded the latest dbi version and patched it through that website, i removed the oldest dbi files i had through hekate usb thing and put in the new files. Is this right?

I think that most likely won't work with DBI. After checking the unofficial Github page, latest versions is a month or so old. There might be a newer version in the works but for some reason I couldn't access that certain Russian website to check if there's a newer version available with 22.x.x support. @Dust2dust Can you check whether the version here is currently the latest available one and, if not, upload the latest one here on GBATemp?

For the time being, I believe that Awoo Installer + NS-USBloader combo still works fine.

That's how I do it when the new version comes out, yes.

879-Ru version works just fine on 22.x.x and so does 874 English version. I use the RU version to access some shops and English version for non shop stuff. Both are working great.

So a bit newer version has been released.
and so does 874 english version
Meaning that official 878 RU should work as well? Hmm. Not sure what may be the problem in that case.

Which error did you get exactly? Can you make a screenshot or something?

Kefir comes with 881-ru and it's even translated into English. It's in the latest pack.

Of course, i will try it again with awoo first and dbi again and take a pic

Oh, is that from the Kefir 808 release? I didn't see that it was updated. Where do these builds come from anyway? They're different from the builds made with DBI Patcher. Which come out in one self contained file. These still show "-ru" in the version number and the English translation is in a separate file in the directory with the DBI executable.

I don't use Kefir but it's not mentioned in the 808 release notes as being added. It's from a Russian site. I believe we cannot mention it's name.

The kefir dev never mentions what gets updated each time other than Atmosphere. But DBI, sys-patch, etc gets version bumped each time (it needs to be at least) anyway.

How come this is about 2 megabytes bigger than 879? That's a massive size difference, did new fonts or something get added?

No idea. There is never a changelog posted on the site.

Whatever version is in the 808 pack is 9.22 MB. 887 is 11.4 MB, so I would say it's not included in the latest Kefir.

I just updated. It looks like it's still on 881-ru. It didn't get bumped. Is yours in English and is the translation in a separate file? That would probably be enough to assume they come from the same source.

The one I attached is ru only. New builds always appear on that Russian site before they appear elsewhere and they are always ru only.

Ah, yeah. The ones I'm talking about are ru builds but they have another file in the directory with the executable that translates the UI to English. They're distinctly different than the DBI Patcher builds.

Thanks for the quick feedbacks, I cleaned the atmosphere folder, reinstalled with sys-patch, I controlled the .ini and I never had that line, I didn't install the sigpatches, all the other games started working as with the sigpatches, I removed the tickets, reinstalled the the game stick fight, but nothing, still the same error "The software was closed because an error occurred".... is there some way to gather a log? I am very very confused

EDIT: I did it!! the problem was some corrupted ticket, I used DBI, I ran the "Clean system of junk" tool and everything started working again! I don't know exactly what the problem was, but it is fixed, thx again

If only it worked for me... Did all the same steps, but for some reason after updating from 1x.x.x to 21.x.0 after a long time, all games installed then don't work anymore, be it with sigpatches, sys-patch, after deleting tickets, deleting junk... It seems like the only solution is to reinstall games...

Will Sys-patch need an update from the newest HOS 22.1.0 release?
no. 1.6.0 works fine with 22.1.0, my patterns did not break for ES 22.1.0 (the only thing that changed in 22.1.0)

also here's full bundle with atmosphere 1.11.1 loader patch included (kip .ips patches/ patches.ini)
