If you wish to make your own again, just send me the assets via my submission form and I can build them (this is true for anyone else reading here, too).

I really don't want to be the only person making banners now, lol. The reason I have such a huge database is the shared labor of many. I would've probably topped out at 50 and burned the hell out, haha.

I went ahead and got the submissions and a tutorial sorted, see post below.

  • gameBackground.png (banner background, 832x456)
  • gameLogo.png (banner logo, grab it from somewhere like SGDB, my script handles the trimming/sizing and alignment; so, don't do any resizing yourself)
  • IconBack.png (icon background, 170x96)
  • WadderMainSmall.png (icon logo, optional, uses gameLogo.png by default- same sizing rules as gameLogo, script handles correct output)
  • jingle.wav (I'm personally targeting 32KHz stereo, normalized volume, 15-25 seconds with a fadeout; I lock the length and fadeout to beats/measures in the song to make it sound a little more professional)
  • _config.txt (optional, script prompts for info if it doesn't exist, so I can enter this)
Contents of _config.txt:
gamename=Game Name Here: Limit 42 Characters
author=AuthorName
fullid=GAMEID

I might eventually release a tutorial in the style of my old, outmoded GT2-to-RV tutorial I made a long time ago, replete with some template data and helper scripts. I really don't want to be the only person making banners now, lol. The reason I have such a huge database is the shared labor of many. P.S.: Also, if game submissions become a normal thing and not just an impassioned plea, I might figure out how to do a submission form on my website where you can fill out the game info and submit the files to be uploaded to the server. That way, I can have it ready for compilation right away.

I have almost all the assets for these now, but yet to assemble banners out of them.
Because of the messiness of posted requests, I made a request form where we can keep everything all in one place now.

Maybe now you won't fear me forgetting. I did go ahead and scour this whole thread to see what requests still haven't been fulfilled and added them to the list- we're all caught up. Anyone and everyone, feel free to submit requests. No guarantees on when any will get done or who will do them. I hope some of the old posters on this thread come back for obvious reason.

One last thing, did you want Franklin in French or English? Official release is French-only on GameCube.

Hmmm... I dunno. I feel like the French would make sense, but English would be nice too. So... personally, either or.

Also, good move on making the requests page.

All done. Also, both requests and submissions send me off a notification e-mail, so I don't have to manually stay on top of this. I appear to be massively overestimating demand for any of this. Apparently 2025 was Year of the Banner and like everyone died, the end.

I'd prefer not to do any more banners for now, but of course I'll handle finalizing submissions.

Okay. Since I don't work on banners anymore, I'll happily wait for a while before I request some more. You kinda deserve a break. 😅
 
By Pikmin 1/2 when I requested it via the banner request page, I meant the Pikmin 2 romhack that enchances Pikmin 1, not the Switch dual pack.

@adam_odell I have been away from this for over a year as my life got crazy busy for a while!

To say you and others in this thread have been carying the torch is an understatement, seeing that site you put together along with the improvements to the actual process legit brought a tear to my eye. <3

Been playing with console modding for nearly 15 years and this was my first contribution to the modding world. To see it take off like this, even for a short while has been amazing.

Now, lets get these to be the default USBLoaderGX pulls from and I'll be happy ;)
