Incredible work, thank you so much for sharing the project with the community! I'd never played TGM before so I'm not the best judge but this seems to me very impressive and all around super well made.

Small update today, I noticed especially after adding the applause that sound effects were cutting each other off a lot, so I baked together a lot of the combinations of sounds that frequently fire on a line clear into their own single sounds and stole some tracks off of the unused music and gave them to the sound engine. Between those, sounds shouldn't really be getting interrupted anymore. I also took out the pause counter since it's a bit ugly and this really shouldn't be being used for formal runs anyways.

Thanks again for all the support!

Quite an amazing project! How feasible would be to port it to the NDS and/or 3DS?
Sorry it's been a few months but i just stumbled upon this and I actually just made a .CIA VC inject of v1.0.2 for 3DS with custom boxart. with OPs permission i can post a mega link to the CIA. Having the original TAP music would be so epic btw.

This is so neat! I already have a way to play arcade TGM2 on any handheld device I care about, but it would be real neat to boot this up on my GB Micro or whatever :3

This is awesome. Thanks so much for doing this. Always played Tetris since Gameboy. Never stopped. Moved on to TGM last year, I have a New Astro City, so will be giving it a go via the Mistercade. I have popped it in the Pocket just now and it plays so well. Very happy.
