Wondering if in 2026 if any 16:9 phones are still worth looking at. Wouldn't mind latest specs if it's not breaking the bank even 8gen3 soc would be a step above my s22s. Not in a huge hurry for one though.
Any phones with a normal 16:9 aspect ratio out there?

Have you tried looking at marketplace for second hand used phones?
I bet they'd be in better shape than anything you might find "new" that's been stored for maybe a decade.

16:9 went away when everybody switched to touchscreen instead of dedicated back/home/menu buttons. The only chance you have at finding a 16:9 phone is finding one that still has capacitive touch buttons. But that's gonna be unlikely.
I'd like one that was just a little bit taller than 16:9 myself to accomodate the touchscreen buttons, because 21:9 is too tall for my thumb to reach easily and it doesn't fit in my pockets as well as my older phones did. 18:9 just isn't an aspect ratio that exists it seems.
