Hey there everyone is my first time doing the HD texture pack, I hope y'all all like it. I'm still also working on it, so there is a few issues. My main concern is how bright the fire can be especially with the enemies that are called Infernas that always have a trail fire behind them. The main problem with the fire is it's too bright, so I'm still trying to fix that. But other than that everything else is pretty much finished. I just wanted to finally post this because everyone on r/thesuffering Reddit form has been waiting. Here's the link :The Suffering HD Texture Pack
But there will still be updates and improvements, however life is a busy thing that keeps me distracted.
There are some textures that I had to put extra effort into, or even, in this case, remake from scratch. So, I hope if you spot those few differences, it really will be appreciated. I replayed each level to make sure everything looks right and to make sure that the alpha channels are right too. The alpha channels help with transparency or the brightness of a texture. The main goal is to remaster, so to make everything as close to the original as possible, and that's including trying to preserve the same art style. I might over time improve some other textures with other different methods, but as far as I'm seeing, everything looks much better than what it looked previously. I'm just so happy with the result; this is a nice little fun project. And yes, there are a few Easter eggs. Funny enough, these Easter eggs actually replace some textures that I just couldn't get looking right, or when it comes to some text that I don't know what they originally say. I just place whatever I'm guessing that they say, so I took some liberties with that. Some other textures are supposed to be pictures of something. Honestly, we wouldn't exactly know what some of them are. So, the ones that are completely oblivious and I can't do anything about them, I just replace them altogether. But those are very minuscule things, but that's why they make such perfect Easter eggs. I've even gone so far as to look at as much promotional stuff and art concepts as I can to find out as much information as possible for some textures that are so low-res in the original game that no one would even know what they are. There are even some textures in the game that weren't even used that I reused. Like, for instance, the cigarette box, not the big carton, but the box. Originally, it was supposed to have a logo on it, but I guess it was probably only for cutscenes? Because the LOD on the game is quite horrible; things pop in and pop out. But if anyone wants updates or whatever, just let me know. Like I said, this is my first time doing stuff like this.
All the pics below are the examples, the ones on the left are the HD textures. The right are the originals.

. But once I get my computer back, I'll check to see if that is still the case or if I could recover them. I never once thought that it could have been useful for other people. Still new to this.
But next time with a new game I'll have this in mind.
