Super Smash Bros hack Smash Remix gets 2.0.1 update, new Tug of War mode added

After getting its 2.0.0 release back in June, the Smash Remix team are back again with a colossal list of balancing tweaks, some reworked stages, and a whole new mode to fight your friends in. Tug of War sees one player gain a stock as another loses one, meaning you'll be playing longer games as they go back and forth in search of that definitive victory.

You can find the full changelog below, though you should be warned it's a surprisingly hefty one for a 0.0.1 increment on the version number:

stuff like this is why i really dont mind skipping the switch 2. fan community can do just as a good of job if not better providing mods than these remake and upgrades that nintendo wants to do and overcharge for.
I know exactly what you mean. There are so many quality Pokemon romhacks that I don't feel compelled to play the newer games.

One of the best N64 rom hacks of all time.

I'm glad they changed Dr. Luigi's pill color for distinction. :)

Guys, 0.0.1 is bugfixes only.
You add a new feature such as Tug of War and new costumes, that deserves a 0.1.0 update.
Don't sell your amazing selves short. 😂

I pretty much have null nostalgia for this game except for the box art as I began with Melee, but the 2.0 version of this made me fall in love.

I actually really enjoyed playing the single player modes on my Analogue64, which they even seperate between the original and the extended version with the new courses and characters. I bet tournament players are loving it even more.

Reworking the old stages also fixed the long standing "black stages" issue on Not64 for the Wii, it now effectively runs perfect on Wii.
