I paid roughly 700€ for my 512gb Steam Deck.
I love my Steam Deck, but it was not cheap compared to a Nintendo console. It is cheaper now, sure, but it's been several years since it originally launched.
I paid like a grand (USD) for my Steam Deck, it was the 1TB limited edition OLED model that was available for only a few hours. Sold my old one I got sometime after launch which was also really expensive, price of the 256GB LCD model has dropped since.

I rarely use it since I don't travel much and I already have a decked out Linux PC at home that is actually replacable :yay:

My frustration with the GameCube Expansion Pack you don’t get an option for a full screen and you should have, it’s crazy. I find it really difficult to get into playing these GameCube games on the size of a screen from the 1980’s and it’s no good Nintendo saying stretching the screen makes visuals blurry they made Super Mario Sunshine in the 3D pack full screen so that excuse is rubbish. It was just an emulation like they could do with all the GameCube expansion titles

You'd want to stretch a 4:3 to 16:9? That looks ugly as hell. Whether you like it or not, the original AR is better when they don't provide Wide-screen support.

If you don't save you lose your progress. In other news, water is wet
That's one of the things I like about playing on Xbox, cloud saves are free of charge whereas on PS/Nintendo they charge us.

Good thing I backed up (via USB) my PS4 saves as I spent a lot of time playing some games and it's the type I want to go back to from time to time.

It's why I won't play switch games on switch if I can help it. Between my nas and syncthing, I'm never losing a save file again.

My Switch 2 has essentially become my go-to console to play Switch 1 games so even though I don't have cloud saving, they're stored in an Express SD which should be safe to use.

Plus, Switch 2 boosts performance for Switch 1 games so that's cool.

RE5 at 60fps sounds awesome, but always hated that the character can't move and shoot.
