really hoping for some way to un-lock the save files between steam accounts. tried comparing two files, came up with nothing useful.

1) If you input '99 11 or 11 11 or 99 99 or etc ...', it will be fixed to the golden appearance

2) If you input '22 22 or 77 00 or 12 34 or etc ...', it will be fixed to the ragged clothes

Information on all island IDs
All islands (Except the black ones) can be travelled to with debug commands.

EDIT: some of the blue islands will work properly if you're on the debug build.

EDIT 2: You can access the Battle Atoll in switch if you use a save file that has already been to Battle Atoll.

Here is the STGDAT for the Battle Atoll. There's some data you need to change in the header of the file (to match that of the cmn.dat) like name (WWWWWWWWW in this file), but I haven't quite documented it yet. probably the safest bet would be to try to make the headers match?

Is it possible to change a monster's appearance into a human's?
Technically. If you change their "type" to a human type, unlock their appearance, and set a human body, face and hair, they would turn human. They don't keep their monster attributes though.

I'm actually trying to make an NPC editing tool. Once its done I think it will help a lot in finding more info on the NPC file structure. (And making it more user friendly)

https://github.com/Sapphire645/DQB2NPCViewer Released an alpha of the NPC viewer with the information documented by the community!

Added information on most fields too. Things are still missing!

Everybody who's contribute to this is amazing. Thank you all. Also, if anyone is still on this thread, how do you use the process injector?

  1. Play Steam DQB2
  2. Execute DQB2ProcessEditor.exe
  3. Double click on the item you want
You get item
enjoy

if you play DQB2 English edition
DQB2ProcessEditor.exe -> Setting -> Process Name = DQB2_EU

DQB2 save editor is fantastic.
turtle-insect, could you help to update it to support Simplified Chinese version?

So does this only work on the switch version?

Also is it still possible for me to obtain the debug build? and yes i have purchased DQB2 on steam.

I'm currently trying to extract the models from the game but dont know what is meant with this bit of text. Is there a tool I'm missing? Or something I had to unpack before this?

Doesn't seem like it. When I tried it said I didn't have the required permissions. We have a TCRF page where we're trying to document the build here if you're interested in learning about the features, but it's 5% complete at most.

Here's a step-by-step guide (This is the LINKDATA tool):

Hello, all! ^_^ Just finished up the PC build of DQB1 and figured I'd go my...um...4th? run through DQB2. Somehow, I've never run across these tools before! Bigger Bash in Furrowfiled? What??? Yes, please!!!!

I was wondering, though, if anyone had deeply gotten into changing things up, like, for instance...giving the Builder the same smash as a golem? I LOVE using the big golem smash, but that step forward and send you into a frenzy if you're not aimed just right!!!! Just curious if that would be possible?

*edit* Also, is there a blueprint repository somewhere to use with the import functions of the editors?

HELP! I accidentally corrupted my save file and I don't know how to fix! I was messing around with editing a resident from an explorer's shore and everything was going smoothly, but then I closed my game and now I can't boot my save! I was really attached to everything I built and I don't want to start from scratch. If anyone knows how to repair a save, let me know.
