(Im a kind of new Im this plataform, so sorry if Im not posting this right)

Hello!
Soo i have a interesting question, i reeeally love the trophy mecanism, but unfortunately psp dont support that feature on any portable model (except PSVita), but i want to create a mod/plugin that creates a similar and small tab of trophys of the games on the psp main menu (just like ps3/ps4/ps5).

BUT im aware of some little problems, if i want for example create a trophy system for a game, i need to go to the game files, remove, add change somethings to make that happen. Besides of creating a tab on the psp menu etc...

I saw a video from a guy (reviewing a free plugin) showing GTAVCS and GTALCS a in game mecanism of a "tab of progress".

Soo i really need your help on that, if you can answer this questions, it will be a big progress!!

1) how to exactly create a plugin for psp menu?

2) How to access a PsP Game? Like the files, textures, codes etc?

3) any more ideas or tips are welcome

Thank you 😄

(Im portuguese, so sorry if my english is bad)

I have an unanswered curiosity about the system to inspire. Do PS3 / Vita (/ XBox for that matter) call the trophy API from the game code? Or does a trophy background service monitor particular RAM addresses of the game for cetain values without the game needing trophy support in its code? Maybe a mix of both? I heard RetroArch has some RetroAchievement thing, but I can't look into it further as my PS Classic doesn't have a compatible wifi adaptor nor internet (can't experiment offlilne).

usually it's the game itself that sends the signal to the achievement servers to unlock the achievement, retroarchievements is completely different, it scans ram addresses afaik, which is why so few games are supported

But for such a system, if available for non-devs to play with, couldn't some cases be as simple as cheat code searching? Example: You want to make a cheat to reach Lv100. So you scan, gain a level, drill with another scan, etc. Values are monitored from previoius. Such an implementation seems plausible, and address:value conditions easily shared with the community (JSON / XML format a whole game's trophy catalog). How extensible is PSP via CFW plugins?
