here are the useful cheats for suikoden 2
- rare item from the shops always active (hoping that it does not block the merchandise provided)
- item drop rate 100%
- for the crystals of consciousness for the 4 recruitable monsters either it does not wear out or recover 2 in its inventory after use (I'm not there yet so I don't know if the cheat items already work with it or not)

Step by step guide for finding max exp for the game Suikoden II HD Remaster Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars 1.0.2
1) Search for team character exp in game. In this example is "424"
2) select search manager
3) select Search Setup
4) select more
5) select u16
6) select back
7) Select Edit A and enter "424"
8) Select Start search
9) Win a battle to gain exp, our example exp updated to "524"
10) Select Edit A and change the value to "524" and select Continue search
11) Show Candidates to see the result.
12) Select Memory Explorer (It could contains a lot of results, repeat step 9-11 until only left a few results. For our example we only have 1 result)
13) Select Expand Menu (Modifying the values you might realise, 6 is the level. 524 is the exp, 58 is the current hp and 63 is the max hp)
14) Select Set Breakpoint
15) Select Gen2Attach
16) Select Execute Watch
17) Gain more exp in game
18) Select Get2Detech
19) Look for keyword "strXXX" or "strhXXX" this is where the game will "save" the values
20) For our example, we have 2 candidates.
21) Select the first candidate
22) Select Page Up to see what the code is doing.
23) Select Add to Cheat, i save it as "test exp off" (Look out for add... or sub.... or gt or lt values as this are easy modding. For our example unfortunately does not have such operations.)
24) Select Back
25) Select Back
26) Select Advance Cheat Menu
27) Select Paste/Duplicate Cheat. (search for the cheat you just save, in our example is called "test exp off")
28) Select Edit Cheat
29)Select Edit, rename the cheat to "test exp"
30) Select Toggle Disassembly to see the register info.
31) Select Add ASM (take note of register w9)
32) Select Expand Menu
33) Select ASM Composer
34) Select Load File (the files to use i will provide as attachment)
35) Select codecaveDecimal.txt (for u8, u16, u32... for float use codecaveFloat.txt, for double use codecaveDouble for register X30 use codecaveXDecimal.txt)
36) Select Edit (and "edit ldr w9, a" where w9 is the register number we saw at step 31)
37) Highlight "a: .word 99" and select Edit (to edit the value to save into the register w9)
38) Select Save & Back
39) Select Add ASM
40) Select Save
41) Select Toggle Cheat to on the cheat
42) Select write Cheat to file (to save into breeze directory, select Write Cheat to atm to save to atmosphere so that when you launch the game the cheat will be there.)
43) Gain exp in game to see if it work (unfortunately this is not the write code)
44) Repeat step 21 - 43 until the correct code is found.
45) Congrats you found the code!

There was for an older bid, but technically it didn't unlock EVERYTHING, just most of them. I think one of the few things it didn't unlock was Powerbombs . It also prevented you from getting the powerups as you find them. Ie. Gravity suit.
For both game I am still in 1st mission where rune feature is not unlocked yet. Rune is different from item? At which point will Rune be unlocked?

I have posted step by step guide on how to find and edit values. Maybe you can try to find the Rune values?
If u want unlocked rune slot, try lvl chars to lvl99 (temp) then u can edit rune modify
