Cool things to do with a modded Switch Lite & "online" question

I have a hard modded Switch Lite I just picked up from Ali. I've got the SD card setup, emunand, etc all working just fine. I can install NSP and XCI files with no issues.

I've been out of the Switch modding scene for many years now and a LOT has changed. It's been fascinating reading everything you can do these days with a modded console.

I'm just curious what are some of the fun or cool things I should be doing with my modded Switch Lite? There are so many different things I'm seeing I can do, I'm not sure what I should do or is worth doing.

Also, right now I keep my Lite in Airplane mode as I could not care less about playing online. I boot into emunand. Is it safe for me to put my Switch on my home internet to use some of the tools I've installed? I've got the N servers blocked and have no intention of launching the store or playing anyone online, nor do I care to link a Nintendo ID

Yes certainly - you're all set up. My switch lite only really connects to my network so that I can install backups from my server. I have a firewall rule to block the device from connecting to the outside world.

Will you go online with sysnand? Or will not use that / stay offline there too?

As for what you can do with your switch (lite)... switch games + mods / cheats :)
My favorite homebrew is Fizeau - https://gbatemp.net/threads/fizeau-adjust-color-of-your-switch-screen.556734/
Keep it simple first, and if in a week or so you really want to run android or watch movies etc, play with that too.

Thanks! I’ll look into that.

As for going online with sysnand I don’t have any reason or need to do that on the Lite. I have a normal OLED Switch if I want to play anything online.

In that case, don't really worry about going online or getting a ban - even though you're protected, it's not like you will lose out, as you said you won't be using Big N's services anyway :)
Basically a "self ban" :D

(Unless you might sell the device in the future...)
