I got this PoC of Quake 3 online-only client up to the main menu... on GameCube. Not even demos would load. Everything just starves the MEM1+ARAM to death. If someone wants the source and wants to continue this hell of a port, be my guest. 40 MB is just too much to work with. Don't ask me why I thought this was a good idea to begin with. I'm full of bad ideas lately.
It's been almost a year since I posted on this site in general. Yikes. Life's been a whirlwind, and I've barely been able to get online to do a whole lot. I have been working on getting everything I can get running working these days though. I've got all of my retro consoles back to working, including my 3DS after the aforementioned spin cycle treatment my original got, as well some old tech I've had lying around. The transition to digital console gaming has still barely occurred for me, so I may not go for a PS6, especially since I could just buy games on Steam and not have to with console storage space.
