    Downgrading on all 3DS systems is possible, whatever firmware your console started on, except for the 2DS.

    I have no idea as I never tried it out but if it didn't worked with Gateway before it surely don't .

    Just do the normal steps for the exploit. If you can access the Gateway's menu by doing the exploit normally, you get access to all those features.
