    Probably not. The total cost of the parts is pretty high and there's also the risk of breaking it even more when trying to fix it(I speak out of experience...). Edit: Also, the lower screen is probably broken, because if the wires were not connected properly the Ds wouldn't even turn on.

    I have this after every game whenever I finish it, but a restart always works for me. I'm pretty sure it auto-saves. I have had it like this with an R4 clone card and wiht my Acekart2i.

    Can't you just change your system language to English? It works with most text in the games that i own, although i'm not sure about voices. But it would be a lot easier for Nintendo to just include all voices, since there's enough space on the carts anyways.

    I've been using Sony MDR-ZX300 headphones for the past 2,5 years and I absolutely love them. They give quite good sound quality, and they're quite cheap aswell.
