Hacking Speculations about Switch 2 hacking

As far as I know, the Switch 2 has a branch of a well known nVidia SOC that was already proven to have countless exploits even before the S2 was released, which is very reminiscent of the Switch 1's X1 nVidia chip which succumbed to similar exploits. If we're all betting on how it'll be cracked...

    Seeking help with dead Switch

You mean a NAND dump? I have a few friends with v1 units as well (that I bought myself for them when I went to get mine) and can get dumps from there. Also, could installing a Picofly on the new v1 motherboard would in any way allow me to pair the EMMC with the new motherboard? I'm basically...

    Seeking help with dead Switch

Greetings and good day, Tempers. I have my first ever Nintendo Switch (Mariko) from back when it was first released. That little fella has been with me through tough times and it broke down on me and I need to get it fixed I first broke it when I attempted to install SXOS modchip (to avoid...

Very lost when updating Switch CFW

HATS never failed me. Just drag and drop files onto your MicroSD and rewrite old files. And if you updated EmuNAND, make sure to re-enable it from Hekate and auto run to avoid using SysNAND by mistake.

Tinfoil error: install failed, looking for mirror...

Yup, Fix Archive Bit solved it. I have never used this option in Hekate nor understood what it was for, and danged Tinfoil had no documentation on this error for local install whatsoever. Either way, my sincerest thanks @mrdude , you saved me a heap of trouble and helped one more into the fold.

Tinfoil error: install failed, looking for mirror...

I didn't try formatting and on my switch yet, but folders of split games have an extension (.NSP etc.). I'll try as soon as I get home, and my thanks for your help.

Tinfoil error: install failed, looking for mirror...

Okay, I'll install your liked file instead and try again. As for the title, I used the split folder as is (renamed by the app as I usually do) and files inside are named numerically as you mentioned. Stumped as to why they wouldn't work on this particular Switch when they work normally on mine.

Tinfoil error: install failed, looking for mirror...

Could be relevant info: - This Switch was software bricked and I managed to fix it. - Split games were NSZ and NSP (and none worked post splitting). 1695534135 My thanks for your suggestion. Is this the latest version, or is there a GitHub page where I could find the latest? EDIT: scratch...

Tinfoil error: install failed, looking for mirror...

Greetings everyone. A friend of mine got his hands an a V1 switch (Erista) and asked me to mod it for him. I got Atmosphere running normally and updated to latest firmware, but whenever I try to install a local split game file Tinfoil returns with error "install failed, looking for mirror..."...

Rumor Alleged new PS5 model surfaces online with slimmer profile and removable disc drive

Looks more like a model than a finished product, and barely a replacement cover at most. A normal PS5 with a disk drive is too heavy to handle with your wrist alone and this could easily be a fake. Not saying it's not based on real future designs but it doesn't even look slimmer or smaller than...

Switchroot Android R version publicly released, allows you to boot Android 11 on all Switch models

Now if only Yuzu is dependable enough to run as close as it could to a genuine switch, I'd switch to a Tab S9 Ultra instead and cut the hassle altogether.

DYKG's "Heroes of Hyrule" video about a cancelled DS Zelda taken down by DMCA from Nintendo.

Damn it! I started watching the video, got busy and didn't continue watching!

Playing video games as a child could improve cognitive performance

Multiplayer games were invented way before online gaming, though Mario Party/Kart could get you to lose your friends  1666754541 Here's the fun part.... Playing highly repetitive games like Fortnite with zero interaction with story elements DID improve responses but had zero to negative...

Playing video games as a child could improve cognitive performance

From my personal experience, video games DO improve cognitive functions and development but also affect social behavior. Playing only single player games do result in autism-like traits (like wanting to be alone) and even that is still affected by environmental factors (like being a single child...
