    heya, thanks for the reply, but, yeah.. i already tried that as well. i dumped a copy of the cia, and installed that cia into the n3dsxl. and the saves (that worked on the o3dsxl) also now caused a corrupted save on the n3dsxl.

    @Quantumcat Oh! so, if i have an sd card with the necessary files created on it, to use in the 'main sd card' slot, i could still have nds roms on it, and when i want to use it for nds roms, i could just put the sd card into the flash cart... seems so obvious now. thanks for the replies all.
