    I know this thread is pretty necro'd by now, but I've got some info worth adding. The Base62 idea in your Reddit thread is on the right track, so I'll bring the analysis over here for anyone following. The likely method is: hash the IMEI (maybe the IMEI plus a secret the company kept)...

    You need Step 1: open jksm and go to shared extdata, F000000B and export data. Step 2: open the file in JKSV<Shared<F000000B<(Name of the save)<CFL_DB.dat and corrupt the file writing everything or deleting some stuff Do the same with CFL_OldDBdat Step 3:Open JKSM and go to shared extdata...
