Homebrew WiiMC and Server 2008 domain shares

Bugger. Are they not supported for technical reasons or 'just because'? If it's not down to technical reasons, are there any plans to add domain support?

Homebrew WiiMC and Server 2008 domain shares

I have previously had WiiMC configured to run files from an SMB share on a Windows Home Server box and there were no issues with this. I've also had it running from a share on a Win7 box and again no problems getting the shares to work. I've now binned the WHS setup and moved to a Server 2008...

Hacking Why won't my Wii 'ignore standby'?

OK, so I have two Wii's. Both are on 4.1E, both have Preloader 0.29, both have the same Preloader settings and hacks enabled. One Wii will shutdown to off (with the red light) from pretty much anywhere - during a game, HBC, WiiMC - if I press the power button on my wiimote the Wii shuts down. On...

Hacking Editing text in channel screen

I did - like I said in my post, I ignored the option to remove them but it seems that the banner won't use them even though I left everything intact.

Hacking Editing text in channel screen

CustomizeMii is indeed capable of doing the job - I have just recompiled my channel WADs and the text is now good. I was even able to edit the images and remove the Disney text off so it is more generic. The only slight issue I have is that when CustomizeMii repacks the WAD, it tells me that a...

Hacking Editing text in channel screen

Seems like WADder will do what I'm after but it keeps crashing on my x64 system so I can't confirm this

Hacking Editing text in channel screen

I have a few of the SingIt Star custom discs that I want to create channels for. I can do this easy enough (I use Crap to do this) but the problem is that every disc has been built based on the Disney Sing It disc so every one of the channels has the the same graphics and text which makes it...

    Hacking Configurable USB Loader

A quick question about the grenre list that is used for filtering. Is this list hard coded into the loader or is it parsed from WiiTDB? I only ask because there is no 'Fitness' filter in the list but a lot of games are listed under this genre on the WiiTDB site. If it's hard coded, would it be...

Hacking Crap, easy to use channel creator

I didn't bother replacing anything - I just switched to 2.5b and it works OK for creating singular channels. I have found that the bug still affects any channels you create when using the batch mode but nowadays I only create a channel every few weeks when a new game comes out so it's really no...

Hacking Crap, easy to use channel creator

Is there any way in which you can change the text that shows up on the channel screen when you create a custom channel? I know the text is extracted out of opening.bnr but I have a bunch of the custom SingItStar discs which are all created with the Disney SingIt banner file so all the images...

Homebrew Wii Media Players - Help needed

I use MPlayer CE 0.76 and it runs my avi files with no problems. I have a 500Gb USB HDD connected which contains all my games and avi files and it doesn't miss a beat. I don't bother with the DVD side of things (or the majority of other bits in there such as YouTube etc) - so much so that I have...

Hacking Crap, easy to use channel creator

I have found that if I try to create channels using the batch method using 2.5b, I still get the partition error so I needed to create all my channels individually - lucky I only wanted about 6 so that the wife didn't need to click too many buttons to get her games going
