UPDATE: now getting "system files corrupted" message every time I go to the main menu. I need to hit + and - to access it from startup, and I think from exiting a channel, too. Also, I did a SysCheck:- SalvadorOliveira

it happens when I turn the Wii on and it's, obviously, completely erratic. Some days I get it 5-6 times in a row, then I'll get a month without it, thenit'll just show up out of nowhere. even more rare, I've had it happen once (and only once) when opening Project: M, and 2-3 times when opening...- SalvadorOliveira

I can't put it in anything except port 0. I seem to have fixed the issue - it seems it was filtering out all the Wii games for some reason - it still loads slowly, and doesn't notice the HD, but unplugging and replugging the drive seems to remedy the issue - inconvenient, but still... ok, so I updated my softmod, and I reinstalled USB loader GX, but it wouldn't mount, or read, or something, and now it's just showing my Wii channels, not the games on my hard drive, and I can't figure out how to actually see the games I've downloaded.- SalvadorOliveira

you're asking me to update GEN into CFW. if I had a CFW OS on there, or Promethius, as it mentions, I'd smile, thanks you a lot, and proceed. however, you're basically asking me to update my Mac into Windows XP, as far as I know. ok, looked at the 1st link: I don't have a PRO recovery menu, I have GEN recovery menu. it's green on black instead of red on black. also, my system software is 5.50 GEN-D3, as opposed to the example 6.20 PRO-B8. corruption's a possibility, but it also happens with ma La Pucelle Ragnarok DLC. I tried moving it from the GAME folder to the SAVEDATA folder, like you suggested, but to no avail. my research tells me my game codes are right, though they're ULUS/ULJS instead of SLUS (Disgaea and Ragnarok...- SalvadorOliveira

I use Pokégen. I have a legitamite DW Murkrow that's got all its hidden and secret numbers in place. I copy it to another box, and change it into, say, a Sheer Force Totodile. hasn't failed me yet. for non DW, I use non DW Pokémon as a base, obviously.- SalvadorOliveira

don't know if it's right correct name for it, but it's the black-and-green screen that shows up when you hold L and R while turning the PSP on. looks like something out of the Matrix, but with less binary.- SalvadorOliveira
