    I just went back to 7.01. everything works fine again. And I'm still able to use the "store" despite the version 8 requirement.

    I am all ears as well. I'm having similar problems. Tinfoil won't open any NSP files, although I can still copy them over to the switch via FTP then install locally using Tinfoil with no issues.
