  • I just saw a listing in my city for a $25 DSi XL that has a broken touch screen. It just so happens that I found my bricked DSi XL a few weeks ago (all the hardware is good). I think I'll buy it and swap the screen.

The 3DS owner from my blog has been really fucking annoying. We've scheduled to meet multiple times so I can give him his console, but he hasn't showed up. We're in the same school, and we've both got a whole hour to do whatever during lunch. There's no excuse for not showing up.

Sorry. I just hate it when people waste my time like this. I've been really good to him, I tried fixing that console to the best of my ability, and I put up with all of his dumb requests like gluing the shell back together. I think I deserve the smallest amount of respect, right? Is it too much to ask to not be bailed on time and time again?

I fixed my friend's DSi today. She bought it second hand and idk how but the camera ribbon cable came loose.

Because I do small things like that, people in my school think I'm some super DSi/3DS hacker repair person. I swear these people will go nuts over the littlest of things.

Hell, I was dumping a couple titles with gm9 one time and my classmates wouldn't stop staring. It's literally just gm9. It's not that impressive.

But hey I can't complain because at least this means people will pay me to fix their broken shit.

I was once typing in notepad in class, and someone asked me if I was "hacking"

I was literally taking notes for class xD

I think I'll set up a dead drop or two in my city. I've always been interested in them. Having a sort of public storage for my city just seems cool. It may not be safe, but if I use a quarantine computer I might find some cool stuff.

I've never heard those words used outside of the context of drug dealing

Very interesting, be safe. Sounds like it could be dangerous and you never know what messed up stuff might be shared there

I'll use an older and cheap computer to check on them. I won't ever connect it to the internet or have any files, so I should be good.

    My laptop's charging port snapped.

I thought I could get a replacement from an older version of my laptop (we had one in the basement) but the cord ended up being too short. I couldn't find a way to make it reach the outside of the case, so I decided punch a hole in the back, right above where the charging port plugs in to the mobo.

    It works well enough.

You know what's really fun? Finding some obscure artist from decades ago, who there is little to no information on. You want to download all their music, but it's really frustrating because there's one song referenced in multiple sites, but none of the sites have or link to any recordings of the song. Once you finally manage to track down the song, it's fucking awesome.

I had that today and I jumped around the house for like 10 minutes, blasting the music as loudly as possible. Best feeling ever!

I've done a lot of walking in the past year.

I've walked in almost every area of my city, I've walked to most small towns within walking distance of my city, and I've reached a good pace of 6 km/h (I can go up to 7 for short periods of time).

Everyone thinks I'm insane, but it's fun to walk.
I learn newspeak. Doublepluseasy to learned. And I sexcrime your mother!

I am so glad I downloaded the student portal for my school board. Never before have I seen a more disgusting and poorly designed website. They've had this same style for years, and only just now changed it. Rest in peace to the old ui.

I suppose a benefit to never being online and slowly fading away is that I can say things I want without so many people seeing. Such as saying the fact that I'm trans.

When I know only a couple people will see this, it makes it easy as fuck to say.
I switched from windows to linux and all of a sudden I can open more than discord and firefox at once. In fact I can have my IDE, VICE, firefox, discord, dirmaster, and a fuckton of text editors and it still runs faster than just those two applications open on windows.

Insane! I thought this pc was complete garbage, but no. It's windows that is complete garbage!

Microsoft is garbage, they are more concerned invading you privacy than providing a sound product. I'd like to know if there is a linux fork that is like windows 98.

AAAAAA stupid insects killing my plant. I bought this ginseng bonsai a while back, then millipedes infested it and killed of a lot of the roots, then spider mites came for about a month and destroyed half the leaves, and now the spider mites are back to finish the job.

There's still hope. You can make a mix of Dish/Neutro Soap with water.and use the foam to kill insects. Also, use organic fertilizers or plant garlics to help kill any plagues.

I'm following watering instructions from the internet. Pretty much just water when starting to dry and don't make too damp.

I worked for both until insects and winter. (I looked around and saw that the second bonsai was fine outside in the snow, but I guess that was wrong)
Note to self: never give random idiots CFW and things like GM9.

If that is not spontaneous NAND hardware failure, but software caused, then this is truly idiotic. 😡

@Sono Advanced electronics can look like magic. CPUs with structures in nm range are not easy to grasp.
    But:
