I've been adjusting to a new work schedule. From time to time, I work on Grand Theft Auto III - Tightened Thrice (difficulty mod), and I plan to start memorizing a ton of stuff to prep for the Fall semester.
If only I had the time. Though it's been a (very) long time, I feel that Mother 1 is a surprisingly interesting game. In particular, I appreciated the somber final segments. (.)
Isn't the last major area notoriously grindy/difficult? I wonder...
I've fallen so far behind in so many franchises that I don't see myself making it out of the backlog.
With Mario, I left off at Super Mario Galaxy.
With Zelda, I felt off at Twilight Princess.

I think a friend helped me, plus I had a guide book, so I don't have bad memories of it myself :)
but they did make it easier in the 3ds version, and this remake will have a reworked version too - I assume

I've written about this in the past, and my feeling was that it all came down to one design flaw.
My young self spent ages going in circles. It was probably one of those, "I give up, I'll just Game Over" moments that probably got me to stumble...
I guess it's true that there might be some two-screen and Joy-Con shenanigans to consider.
