Hardware Gamecube Controllers now work on switch with all games through official wii u smash bros adapter

I'd say it's basically guaranteed that Nintendo will produce new ones as soon as they announce the new Smash Bros or GC VC. The adapter will be sold again then under the Switch branding for sure as well.

Hardware Gamecube Controllers now work on switch with all games through official wii u smash bros adapter

Seems like this can be used for more than just GC controllers. Currently using my old SNES controller on Switch. I have an adapter from raphnet that changes the SNES plug into a GC one. That daisy-chains into the official GC adapter and voila, gets recognised by the system. There doesn't seem to...

Hardware GameCube controllers now compatible with Switch via Mayflash GC Adapter!

Ok at this point I've experimented with just about anything, also different downloads from their page and stuff. No can do. I don't think it's happening quite now, but on a more positive note I'd be shocked if no one jumped on-board and made their own adapters for the Switch. It's very popular...

Hardware GameCube controllers now compatible with Switch via Mayflash GC Adapter!

I tried this one https://www.amazon.co.uk/Wii-Classic-Controller-Adapter-USB/dp/B00413WQX6/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1499446147&sr=8-5&keywords=mayflash+classic+adapter on the latest firmware and nothing worked. Same for my N64 adapter by Mayflash. The Pokken controller worked with the USB port I...

Hardware GameCube controllers now compatible with Switch via Mayflash GC Adapter!

Yeah that's what I meant. Raphnet offers an adapter that connects your SNES controller, or any controller pretty much, to your Gamecube. I'm thinking of getting that, but the last adapter of theirs took a month to get here, so I won't be able to share results for quite some time.

Hardware GameCube controllers now compatible with Switch via Mayflash GC Adapter!

You guys reckon you can plug controller adapters into the Mayflash adapter? Like a SNES -> Gamecube adapter into the Mayflash adapter to use your SNES controller on Switch? I want to try it out but I'm worried that the controller won't get enough power and/or input lag up the ass because of too...

    Hacking Nintendont

Sounds like you're miles ahead of me in this matter. Also sorry to hear you've been unsuccesful so far. As I've already said, I can understand there's little interest, but it would be increadibly neat to see it happen to say the least. Since you and me are interested in the same thing, I'd...

    Hacking Nintendont

I see, thanks for the info. I never considered the point about adapter and WiFi specifically. Do you know / does anybody know if I can throw money at someone to change this? Basically, which person to contact here?

    Hacking Nintendont

So, about dat delicious Broadband Adapter support. Am I right in assuming that if that was implemented, Nintendont would simply detect a USB LAN adapter and treat that as a BBA? At that point the procedure for, let's say, local Double Dash would be the same as with a real Gamecube, correct...
