    I can't tell for Master Mo, but GeexBox works better also for me. It always recognizes my samsung 320g HD ( and to be exact its second fat32 partition, the firs one is wbfs) and shows all the files and directories Mplayer Ce 0.75 randomly does not recognize usb hd, and sometimes doesn't...

    rock band drums 1 work fine with GH5 ( won't work with GH metallica thou :-( ) white gibson from GH3 works fine on RB2 that's what i can confirm at the moment

    i can confirm that rb1 drums work indeed with GH5 ( thats very nice discovery) the given above method of playing customs works also flawless , but only with original rb2 DVD, both usb and backup dvd won't work as they use cios ... more compatibility between gh and rb is always welcome
