    If I had to guess, the issue would likely be something with how the unit is added to your team. Corrin is probably done differently and might have some script that runs to set their initial info. Look into the script files for that section of the game to see if that's true.

    There is not. The gender flag determines how the other character creation flags are interpreted. I.E. indicating hair 1 and male picks the first male hair, but if you change the flag to female the hair changes to be female hair 1.

    No, stats are hard capped per class and character. Setting it to 99 will just set it to max.

    Finally solved it! I'll leave this here for other people having this issue, I tried a different cable from the one I was using on HDD and the HDD works. The SSD issue is likely a problem with sleep/power saving mode, but due to the enclosure I can't tweak the settings.
