    So, i have managed to boot up the console. The problem is, that the touchscreen doesent work. The n3ds starts at configuration menu, and there's nothing i can do about it. I am certain that the touchscreen does work. I've swapped it with another console and it did work. The connector looks good...

    What if we got it broken. Is there any tutorial how to fix such connectors? The sellotape is supposedly going on the bottom of the ribbon, opposite side of the gold pins, to make it thicker, right?

    What would indicate that the console is fried? Also, does the n3ds boot without the R and L ribbons attached? It's a bit of a hassle to put them back together everytime i disassemble/reassemble the console.
