    Lol yeah I wasn't taking it as aimed at me. I have worked with ribbons a lot over the years (3DS LCDs are wonderful to work with) and I am quite happy to admit if I messed something up (*cough* nand chip.) But since the short was already there before I got it, I can plead my innocence on this...

    I seem to be at an impasse now. I got back to the point where Etcher was ready to flash boot0 but when I clicked start it again locked my PC up and I had to reset. All was fine after that. Could still get into Memloader but instead I tried Hex Workshop to restore boot0. It seemed to do something...

    I used to be in Notts lol. Up north now. I will try the NAND restore tomorrow and see where I am at. I don't see what other option there is at this stage. But at least I am learning as I am experimenting. I will get my money back in spare parts if nothing else so I am not concerned if it stays...

    Battery back in, Nintendo logo is showing again and I am back into Hekate. That is it for tonight. Unless someone tells me otherwise, I will go for a NAND restore tomorrow along with boot0 and boot1.

It took a couple of attempts to get the Switch to appear in device manager as it should, but then it did not show up in etchers. I looked at Hex Workshop too and it did not show.     Yeah it was freezing before I put an SD card in. Not sure what else I can try now except restoring the NAND from the backup I got and see if I at least get back to it booting to main menu.
