    I voted possibly because I'm still a bit indecisive. I've heard a rumor of the EU 3DS games being €50 to €60 and I certainly hope this isn't gonna be true. Fifty euros is where I draw the line for handheld games.

    I wouldn't dare risking my 3DS if it needed a modchip. I don't have the money to buy a new one if an amateur modder were to brick it.

    I won't be buying a 3DS until a Golden Sun sequel is announced for that system or a Tales game is released in Europe for 3DS. I won't be buying it for anything else unless I got money to spare.

    I seriously hope you're right about this. That would make the region locking at least a little bearable. Europe has been cheated out of many potential awesome games just because they care more about the casual gamer. I don't need more Cooking Mamas or Lauras Passion. I wanna see some srs games...

    I WTFed when I read it on Tweakers.net (a Dutch computer & technology website). Nintendo hasn't learned a single thing from the piracy on the DS and other consoles. The more restrictions, the more piracy.

    Just start over and button mash your way through the tutorial and dialogue. It's not that hard and it doesn't take hours to get to the point where your save game got erased.

    I don't think that's needed. For anyone with Wifi they can simply block the device from connecting to the internet by putting the MAC adress on a block list of the router/modem's MAC filter. No internet = no firmware updates.
