Hacking The Definitive Guide to Wii U Hacking

System.NotImplementedException: The method or operation is not implemented. <-- This sounds like some kind of missing dependency. Might this be possible if port forwarding is not setup in the router? Self-hosting hasn't worked either. The little Mario menu comes up but any action chosen there...

Hacking The Definitive Guide to Wii U Hacking

What you see there is the vs2010 + .NET4 training kit, then vs2010 pro on top of that. Delete it all & start over? Was there a proper link to the right vs posted somewhere?

Visual Studio is such a hot mess. 2010 professional is installed, pc rebooted for good measure, still crashing TCP Gecko.

Hacking The Definitive Guide to Wii U Hacking

If you want to make your guide super-noob friendly, consider adding this to TCP Gecko section or anywhere you need to get your WiiU's IP address: 1) On PC, start -> Run -> type cmd & press Enter 2) Type ipconfig, press Enter 3) Find the line with default gateway and note the IP address 4) Type...

Homebrew Official WUP Installer - Title installer + Firmware spoofing [3.x - 5.4.0]

Right, I wouldn't expect the exploit to have anything to do with video. It's just a matter of packaging the right files. I'm just trying to get an in. :-) Do they still talk on IRC these days? If so, PM me the room name?

Homebrew Official WUP Installer - Title installer + Firmware spoofing [3.x - 5.4.0]

Don't be jelly, be peanut butter. Ask me a question I should know. My devs live in GitHub. I live in TFS. (Team Foundation Server) This is where all bugs and PBI's are logged and prioritized.

Homebrew Official WUP Installer - Title installer + Firmware spoofing [3.x - 5.4.0]

What's the best way to offer to test? Good bug reports have: 1) System config info like software version and all files in use 2) Easily followed repro steps that result in bug repro 100% of the time, and 3) expected vs. actual results.

Hardware What happens when the battery is fully charged?

Batteries have a lifespan of x number of charge/discharge cycles. Playing while plugged in with a full battery should enable trickle charging. I'm not sure how that affects the lifespan. If you leave a laptop plugged in all the time, the battery gradually loses its capacity and won't keep the...

Hardware 3ds 3d screen repair question

Top screen or bottom screen? The top screen has a thick black&clear plastic cover you can pry off. The touchscreen is a little trickier to replace.

Hardware Broken DC jack trace ; battery won't charge

Oh yeah, good idea! Does that use the brass pads on either side of the DC jack? Could it be a fuse? I don't see how this one missing pad could cause this problem. It's just the casing of the jack - one of four ground pins. Ok, what's the middle connector on the battery? I ran a wire to link...

Hardware Broken DC jack trace ; battery won't charge

I got a 3ds where one of the pads got completely broken off for the DC input jack. If you are looking at the pins on the board, and the wire plugs in behind the jack from your point of view, it is the 2nd pin from the left. This is a ground pin. The battery will not charge. Is there an alternate...
