Building "ultimate" versions of my favorite Gameboy games. Here's the collection so far.
Next I'll be doing Pokemon Crystal Clear, and then the 3 Super Mario Land games inside metal shells and custom PCBs. My goal is to have all my games I play regularly be batteryless, with the exception of the ones that need the real-time clock.
Due to popular demand and scarcity in the wild, I'm now carrying GBA cart extenders for the Analogue Pocket on my Etsy, shipped anywhere in the world for a flat $45 USD.
I spent 4 hours making this HQ label for Pokemon Pinball Generations, since I couldn't find any already made that I liked... Except one that Katie Danger made and she hasn't released the image for. I loosely recreated her design, but with my own polish.
Here's Katie's Design on the left, and mine on the right:
I wish there was a way to remove the lag in Sonic Chaos (Also known as Sonic and Tails) for the Mastersystem and the Game Gear, either by patches or by overclocking. I can't find anything, and it'd be nice to play my favorite Sonic game without lag.
I just wanted to leave this personal message to say: Thank you for making MediCat USB! It fixed a really nasty boot problem that I had yesterday, for some reason Grub didn't want to be installed in my UEFI system but the Boot Repair ISO included in your distribution fixed it immediately! MediCat USB will live permanently in my keychain for sure.
I wish somebody talented would pick up GBARunner2 and fix up the compatibility and audio syncing issues. Maybe even call it GBARunner3 or something, IDK. And possibly in the ability to use Open_AGB firmware.
Not sure about other models of Pi4 but the Pi 4 B with 8GBs OCed to 2Ghz handles PSP really great except like 1 game I found and it is playable it just looks bad lol Motor Storm Arctic something or other.
I mean yeah sure but the specs are the same as a $50 model, it's just those pesky "quality of life" things driving up the price, like an actually working speaker, or buttons that don't melt, and stuff like that.
I think all in my Pi 4 was well north of 200 bucks 150ish for the Pi 4 the case the fancy cooler, then like 70 for the 500GB MicroSD then like 70 for the Xbox controller. But honestly it's a nice set up I really enjoy and to me was worth every penny. (even bought more controllers for 2 or 4 player games.) hmmm have never played any 2 player games yet
Yeah that's what I hate about the RPi, it's supposedly $30 or something but it takes an additional $200 of accessories to actually turn it into a working something.
Yeah a lot of it I consider a hobby, using Batocera I am constantly adjusting the collection adding and removing stuff, scraping the artwork. Haven't even started on some music for the theme... Also way down the road I am considering attempting to do a WiiFlow knock off lol
