Hacking FAQ: What CFW is best for me?

OMG thank you you're amazing. This is helping so much with getting my niece's 3DS set up for an epic Wario takeover screen.

Homebrew What are some good, avaliable, Wiiflow Friendly 100gb or more USB drives/hdds?

Ty I'll definitely give that a try next time I refurbish a Wii.

Homebrew What are some good, avaliable, Wiiflow Friendly 100gb or more USB drives/hdds?

Thanks much for the advice, unfortunately that device isn't available they say it's sold out. Do you think this one would work the same? I'm pretty sure but want to make sure there isn't something you know that I'm missing here. To rename a link, you basically just type the text in, then...

Homebrew What are some good, avaliable, Wiiflow Friendly 100gb or more USB drives/hdds?

So would this for instance work with both Gamecube and Wii games & Wiiflow as long as I disabled idling? I want to be sure I get the right product because it's expensive to keep buying them and trying them out based on the compatibility guide alone.

Homebrew What are some good, avaliable, Wiiflow Friendly 100gb or more USB drives/hdds?

The setup I have now for my niece's Wii required some ini modding, since Wii MC won't work with FAT 32 I had to set my 128gb 2.0 pny flash drive to ntfs to play any movies on it, gamecube games wouldn't work right under any format. Since ntfs won't run emunand, like at all, I ended up just...

Homebrew What are some good, avaliable, Wiiflow Friendly 100gb or more USB drives/hdds?

Does anyone at least have a recommended device they use with a high storage capacity that works with Wiiflow?

Homebrew What are some good, avaliable, Wiiflow Friendly 100gb or more USB drives/hdds?

The compatibility guide is a hot mess of low capacity drives and low compatibility barely even tested drives that aren't specifically tested for Wiiflow, and most of the devices with more than a 100 gb of storage space it lists are exceedingly difficult to find, some are even hard to identify...

    Hacking Wiiflow & Mplayer again

Sadly, what I said about Gamecube games working after disabling NMM turns out to be not true. I thought it was because I played half a level in Sonic Adventure 2 Battle and a full course in Mario Kart Double Dash without any problems but then when I tried to load another game recently, I got the...

    Hacking Wiiflow & Mplayer again

Hi, I'm trying to play MP4, AVI, and FLV (mplayer supports FLV but ini editing is required in Wiiflow) all at 480p Wii standard. The problem is entirely Mplayer it seems, I've just started using WiiMC. The Gui is just a list and isn't as pretty plus it has this annoying "Up One Level" option at...

NMM was causing this for me as well :( Darn, I hate using a real memory card.

    Homebrew GUI mod for WiiMC

Unfortunately Mplayer seems to have inferior USB device compatibility to WiiMC I just tested and WiiMC will launch movies from a PNY 128GB Flash Drive that Mplayer won't. Both display the contents on the flash drive but only one will actually run the movies, the other just reboots to menu. So...

Hacking Wii Flow & MplayerCE problems...

I have practically the exact same problem, only my Storite external HD will actually play the movies fine, but it won't play movies from my USB drive at all, it displays them fine but when trying to run them it just black screens then resets.

    Hacking Wiiflow & Mplayer again

So after successfully modding one White Wii with a storite device, I got another and a new Storite device, and on this one movies play fine but Gamecube games randomly freeze and bug out. No clue what's causing it. So I got a PNY 128 gb flash drive instead, and with force IOS enabled it runs...
