Yes, Priiloader has no way to know what time you're supposed to have, nor does the actual Wii for that matter. So when appropriate, you enable the correct hack and disable the other one. Not a big hassle considering you only have to do this tweak...
1. There's no point in using the "always enable" hack when you can have the system settings enabled, enable WiiConnect24 from there, and then the setting will be persistent. Making the other hack redundant. Only way for that to get overwritten is...
The saves for Wii games are always on the vWii NAND regardless of how you are playing the game (disc, wbfs file on a USB Loader, VC Inject). So you don't need to do anything. The save is already on the NAND ready to be used.
Hey, I think you'll be happy to know that I found a way to get an installable WUP from a decrypted WUP. Though this has a few caveats and still doesn't mean we can recover the original encrypted WUP from a decrypted one, the new section goes more...
Yes, you're missing the fact that Aroma has no Homebrew Menu/Launcher, Homebrew apps just show up on the Wii U Menu. You also don't need a GamePad to just open the Wii U Menu.
Just a heads up about the guide proper, the Manual Download section is broken:
I assume this was supposed to a nice table, but you get this mess instead
Just use the vWii Decaffeinator and in the advanced options, only toggle IOS56. That will delete the file, which will then make sure a system update is available to redownload a clean IOS from Nintendo's servers.
If you need a guide for the...
No, because the Wii U's disc drive is console specific and there's checks to make sure the disc drive is present or not. ISFShax can allow you to bypass those checks to use the console without a disc drive, but that makes the vWii mode unusable...
That guide is horribly outdated and shouldn't be used. All you need is to boot the CTGP app from the Homebrew Channel in the vWii, exact same process as on a real Wii.
Hence why I said it was included in case the user didn't have it already, it's a good idea to cover all bases if possible.
The changes haven't been upstreamed by the way, maybe making a pull request might help?
I'm sure you don't need the payload.elf included in the ISFShax files at all, since there's nothing unique about it compared to the one included with Aroma. I installed it just using the Aroma file just fine. It's just included in the ISFShax...
That means an issue with the game file itself, in my experience modifying it via Wiimm's ISO Tools caused that issue no matter what.
Only way I was able to get a wbfs file with working masterpieces was to use TinyWiiBackupManager to convert a...
