    I love technology and hardware, for me the added complexity of PC is a plus that keeps me interested in it, I like to costumize and tune everything to a deeper level. For me consoles just feel like a waste of hardware. Even though i understand Op's perspective, for me 2 options doesn't cut it...

    I use both but i prefer xci. Nsp has to be installed, xci is like a portable installation, no contest. No installing means less risk of curruption. I can put, delete and put again xcis on the sd card, its like a mp3 repository, you carry what you want now, no hassles. Xci as an cartridge image...
