    The CycloDS' beta firmware GUI is really nice and simple to use and get used to. The Wood firmware GUI is quire nice too. One of the more horrible one's I've seen was the Akaio GUI. It was a mess and a fair chuck more difficult to navigate.

    we waited around 6 months for the last update and all it said on the change log was "numerous game compatability fixes". It didn't even specify which ones were fixed and as far as I can tell "numerous" means very few.

I was buying it anyway, i just wanted to preview it first to make sure it was worth the purchase. Sometimes I hate being a CycloDS user, I would buy a new flash card but i seriously wonder...

    personally i can't wait for this game. watching the videos it looks like it's a cross between the old 2d metroids, the prime games and some game i haven't heard of before that involves some seriously kick ass close combat. gonna buy a copy but leave it in it's sealed packet and dl another copy.

    i have a black dsl but of all the available colours i wish i had bought a bright green one, they were pretty sweet. i also wish they came in matte as well as gloss. fingerprints and stuff.

    i bought a tri wing screwdriver off amazon, took the back off my dsl then cleaned it with white spirit and cotton buds. haven't had the problem since and i did it 3/4 of a year ago.

    I would prefer something like the homebrew channel on the wii, the channel stored on the 3DS and with the ability to launch games off the SD card.

    thanks for the reply, that's what I heard too but I have also heard plenty of people that say that it only registers that an update is available and then asks if you want to upgrade when you turn the console on. I may look into priiloader or startpatch as well, thanks.
