Hacking Is there a way to backup the save file of a game I own

Yeah, you can use the wi-fi method if you follow the instructions on how to use the wi-fi adapter with homebrew. One thing to keep in mind is that that method is convoluted and EXTREMELY slow, from what I've heard. It ought to be all right for savegames, but for backing up full games, you're...

Hacking Is there a way to backup the save file of a game I own

Rudolph's slot-2 tool is by FAR the fastest and least complicated way to back up games and saves. I used it with my Supercard mini to back up ALL (20 or so) of my games and saves. And SM64 is an especially good game to do this with, as it's a good enough game that I might find myself wanting...

Homebrew jEnesisDS 0.6 not working on cyclos

Hah. You could have just reformatted the SD card. Incidentally, I haven't had a problem on my R4. jEnesis runs great.

Hacking DS N5 Revolution is it a new r4?

Wow. The first post in this thread looked like spam, but still, yeah, it does look like this might be the new R4 (or a COMPLETE ripoff of R4). In any case, if it is a new R4, one wonders why they don't call it the new R4. R4 has name recognition, and N5 does not. I found one Chinese site...

    Hacking DS N5 first look

Indeed. I have an R4, I love it, and I have no desire to get another card to replace it, as it serves my needs perfectly. However, if I were buying a slot-1 card today, it would not be an R4 (unless it were being sold for $15 or something). SDHC support is a nice feature, plus the R4's lack...

DS #1935: SuperLite 2500 Crimson Room (Japan)

I played the DS versions too. I also liked the look and playability better, but they're still essentially the same (tiny) games. Also, while Crimson Room and Viridian Room are both cool, Blue Chamber and White Chamber are simply LAME. Definitely not worth the 2500 yen purchase price.

    GBA ExpLoader 0.4

    Indeed.

    GBA ExpLoader 0.4

One thing Ewin owners will have to be aware of is that this version apparently has fixed SRAM detection. As such, it will no longer work on newer Ewins with 128KB of SRAM (0.3 wouldn't save, but this probably won't work at all).] More detailed changes from the blog:Minor message changes...

Hacking Rip your own GBA saves?

That's what I get for not paying attention to anything but the topic and your post.

Hacking Rip your own GBA saves?

Yeah, what DanTheManMS said. I also haven't tested the tool, but Rudolph's GBA backup tool (if it works for all save types) should be the best option for Slot-1 users. If I remember, maybe later on I'll put up a short guide as to how to use it if it's not in English (a lot of Rudolph's stuff...

    Hacking Ewin Browser Patch

kzat3 (the guy who wrote the patch) moved his blog to a different site, and I was able to get help on how to make this work with the EU version!!! You can get it here: http://gbatemp.net/index.php?download=1902

    Hacking New GBA ExpLoader!

Oh, I see. Yes. They are written to the microSD (with either loader) but not directly. Contents of SRAM are written to the microSD when you load another game (in the case of GBA Loader), or when you start the loader or press B (in the case of GBA ExpLoader). Edit: Okay, there's now...

    Hacking New GBA ExpLoader!

What? No, I don't even think that's possible. Perhaps you do have the 128KB cart and the ExpLoader's detection is buggy.

    Hacking New GBA ExpLoader!

Ouch. Yeah, it should have whatever game you loaded the last time. So maybe his code doesn't work OR you have a dead battery.

    Hacking New GBA ExpLoader!

Usually all you have to do is start up GBA ExpLoader again. You could also press "B" (then "A" to confirm) to save to a file again. Try a wider variety of games though, if you can. I don't think either of those should be broken, but I'm not sure. Edit: BTW, Rudolph supposedly included code...
