    Have you tried with this version? https://github.com/esmjanus/snes9xTYL/releases If you enable Ignore palette writes and/or Simple palette writes on MISC-> hack debug menu you will have a better performance on battles

    For Star Ocean, try with this version https://github.com/esmjanus/snes9xTYL/releases, if you get a black screen after loading your rom then disable speed hacks on MISC->Hack/debug menu and reload your rom. This emulator supports zip compressed roms. About the folder system add on, I don't know...

    You can change the name and graphics of your emulators with PSP Brew that is an application for PC or PSPBPacker that is an application for PSP. And yes, you can have multiple installs of the same emulator, just by changing the name or the emulator folder.
