hello Jayinem I think the answer is yes. there is also [hombrew]fakemote that emulates the wiimote and nunchuck controls, or classic pro control using hombrew software. But it only uses USB the gamecube controller port is part of the nintendo... -

Other than emcintosh says, and almmiron, there is a very cheap and easy to make adapter, Ardruino ESP32, which by means of cable welds you can make a "GameCube2Bluetooth" Controller, with the advantages that this entails; freedom of controllers...

Updated the collection again (05-01-22): added build.sh and build.bat scripts to each emulator folder for easier batch rom conversions added exit-patched PCEAdvance 7.5 and a new compile script added SNESAdvance 0.1f (no emulator exit though)...
