    wiinja is just a drive chip. no chance to use it in order to modify the operating system/the way the wii hardware works. not with this kind of chip. this means no homebrew as long as there is no chip with the ability to modify the original bio/os/hardware. sad but true.

    fsimonp gamefreax canceled their cyclo offer. they don't wanna risk to deliver a chip that won't work on alle console generations. they modified their offer from cyclo to wiikey. maybe much better greetings dakky

    a possible use of the update function: BigN decides to bring a new firmware packed (maybe hidden) on one of the future games. so the drive has a new firmware/passwd. the drive might still be able to read the (burned) disc itself (althoug it wont boot the Wii OS because of the wrong firmware)...

    why do u think so? updating a chip can be useful. as u live in a PAL region und will beg for a update enabling u to play ntsc games so a chip with update capabilities makes sense for u. dakky
