    It doesn't change anything for me, at least. I would actually prefer a smaller community, since unlike Android or iOS, we could actually make things that haven't been done to death already (e.g. Android has at least a hundred Twitter apps, 3DS has zero). I think it might be too late for that...

    I figure it's always going to be beneficial, even if it doesn't instantly hack every 3DS. If it's worth the cost is another question. That all sounds reasonable actually. Assuming those things are in the SoC, we'd have the information needed to understand them eventually.

    Why? It's still something being worked on, even if it doesn't meet your standards. Smealum has said he has plans to release, and he has updates on progress fairly frequently.
