    Well I bit the bullet and bought one and it's terrible. The analog sort of works, it registers various degrees of movement, but only in 8 directions. And none of the face buttons are pressure sensitive. Just typing this here in case anyone finds this thread through searching.

    Hardware Old 3DS XL: Left speaker louder than right?

    Either I've only just noticed, or it's only just broken somehow, but the left speaker on my 3DS seems quite a bit louder than my right. If I place my finger over each speaker, the left one definitely produces louder, clearer sound. A little Googling tells me this may be a fairly common problem...

    Hardware Does disabling SpotPass in settings disable it globally?

    I have "Automatic Software Downloads" and "Send System Info" disabled in the SpotPass settings, do these settings govern whether SpotPass functions at all, or do individual games that use SpotPass still use the functionality even with these settings turned off? Thanks.

    Setting up Luma3DS is the bad part... It worked fine for me once and every other time it just gave me a black screen. I might wait for updated methods. Thanks for your help.

    I think maybe I needed to rename the folder then. I'll try restoring this 9.2 NAND and following the guide again at some point, or maybe waiting for an easier method to be developed. I can't be bothered doing it now because I've been messing around with this all day :rofl:

    I'm willing to try following the new CFW guide again, but how do I get all of my games and saves back? Because they weren't there when I actually managed to boot into RedNAND from Luma3DS. This isn't ideal because menuhax only worked 75% of the time...and Luma3DS rarely gave me anything other...

    I can boot into Decrypt9WIP and I have a 9.2 NAND backup. If I restore this I can boot into Decrypt9 but trying to dump the H&S app just gives an error. I have a 9.2 NAND I could restore and install menuhax again, but if I do is there a way for me to boot my emunand?

    If I were to upgrade using this method, how would I boot into my emunand from browserhax? This method isn't idea as it would only successfully boot 75% of the time as I was following the guide for the new CFW method. I'll try and see if I can start DevMode.

    I don't think I can even upgrade to 9.2 again because it involved injecting the health and safety app which I no longer have. I don't have a DS flashcart.

    What do you mean by entry point? I can still launch stuff via the browser. What's the hb version of FBI? Right now I'm on 4.x. I restored my old 4.x sysnand and my old 4.x emunand, so I'm assuming all of my games and saves are still there I just need some way of booting into it.
